Transnational cooperation for a sustainable and integral management of the Scheldt International River Basin District is being implemented within the ISC, in working groups and projects on major issues related to the management of surface and coastal waters as well as groundwater, and in response to the Water Framework Directive and the Flood Risk Directive.
